Causes of WW I

The First World War had many causes. The spark of the Great War, was the assassination of the Archduke Francis Ferdinand, heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary, and his wife by a Serbian nationalist on the morning of June 28, 1914, while traveling in a motorcade through Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Archduke was chosen as a target because Serbians feared that after his ascension to the throne, he would continue the persecution of Serbs living within the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

This was the first war in the human history where the weapons of defense were superior to offensive. The First World War was the first war to use poison gas as a military weapon. The two biggest and horrifying battles of this war, are the Battle of Verdun and the Battle of the Somme. Over million soldiers were killed on both sides only in a single battle of Somme during 1916. The human kind had never sees such battles throughout the whole history, with so many losses, which was quite shockfull experience for the soldiers who fought the First World War. This war resulted shortages in practically everything, and rising prices. By the end of 1916 America was still not involved in the war.

the opium wars was a preparation made from the juice of poppy seedpods, and used to produce heroin. What happened during the Opium wars was that the Chines did not want to trade with the British any more because the British were selling a harm full drug to the Chines for tea. So the British did not like this so they fought the Chines. The British won the war because the British had advanced technology and strong army's but most importantly strong ships that the Chines could not stand a chance to there own.

The name that the Japanese gave to their land is Nihon (“sun origin”), which heavily reflects their belief that all Japanese are descendents of the Sun Goddess. The Japanese had consciously closed the door to outside intervention because they felt they had nothing good to learn from the barbaric people of the west, they may have been right; Over the 250 years that the Japanese practiced a closed door policy with the west, they enjoyed relative peace, prosperity, and advancement of the arts. By the 1820’s the Samurai class in Japan had become aware of foreign military might through the word of those who had traveled abroad. (Some Japanese found their way around the world upon foreign fishing boats.) Even some government aids such as Mizuno Tadakuni who had studied Dutch gunnery and English Industry in the 1840’s warned the Shogun of European advances; Mizuno prescribed a system of Eastern Ethics with Western Technology.

Communism is a way to keep everyone "equal" to let everyone feel as if one doesnt have more than the other.If everyone is working for the same amount of money than no one has more than the other at the end of the week.It was a way to show balance and structure.He saw the good guys as the worker.The people who would work for little money and stay for hours a day.Dispite the working conditions weather safe or not.The bad guys would have been the land owners.The bosses, the people who were causing all of the men to over work, and still not have everything needed.The guys who worked children and took away their oportunity for an education.

I think that karl marx feel sad because the Conditions in European factories were very harsh and unsafe. also Marx's ideas were known as Communism, a word formed for common. Marx died in 1883, but his ideas formed the basis of the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917. Marx believed that workers would control government, but communist governments were strict and dictatorial.

Simon Bolivar Latin America Revolution

Simon bolivar was bornin caracas venezuela on july 24 1783. His parents died when he was a child and he inherited a fortune. As a young man, he traveled in Europe. As he returned to Venezuela, Bolivar joined the group of patriots that seized Caracas in 1810 and proclaimed independence from Spain.

He went to Great Britain in search of aid, but could get only a promise of British neutrality. When he returned to Venezuela, and took command of a patriot army, he recaptured Caracas in 1813 from the Spaniards. simon bolivar became very famous because he release six nations venezuela,colombia,panama,ecuador,peru,and bolivia venerate simon bolivar as their liberator from the rule of spain. Bolivar became dictator of Peru. Peru became a separate state, named Bolivia in Bolivar's honor, in 1825. simon bolivar died at the age of 47 on December 17, 1830.

1) the different between the geocentric and the heliocentric. is that the heliocentric is the theory that the Sun is at the center of the Solar System. and the geocentric is is the theory that the Earth is the center of the universe and other objects go around it. the one that come first is the heliocentric because it's on the center of the solar system.

the scientific method refers to a body of techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge. for example Aristotle, the Greek philosopher, stated that males and females have different number of teeth, without bothering to check; he then provided long arguments as to why this is the way things ought to be.

For example, it’s not enough to say, “I’m going to see how the dog reacts in this situation.” Rather, in that experiment, the scientist might have a list of certain behaviors, and record how often each of the dogs tested exhibits each of those pre-defined behavior patterns.

Explain, in your own words, each of the two theories. Then; explain which one you believe in and why.

Evolution is technically defined as a gradual process in which something changes into a different and usually more complex or better form. As it is most famously used, "evolution" is the process by which an organism becomes more sophisticated over time and in response to its environment.

Creation is a movement within creationism which attempts to use scientific means to disprove the accepted scientific theories on the history of the Earth, cosmology and biological evolution and prove the Genesis account of creation.

I believe in creation because geological formations that we see today were mainly produced over a very short time interval during the Noachian Flood. The Flood...brought about vast changes in the earth's surface, including vulcanism, mountain building, and the deposition of the major part of sedimentary strata.
